Sat 22DEPART BRISBANE
To arrive in Queesnstown the same day and not lay over a night in Auckland we have an early early morning flight from Brisbane this morning. Airport Transportation is provided.
ARRIVE QUEENSTOWN
On arrival you will be transferred to the Heritage Queenstown Hotel. The remainder of the day is free to explore this wonderful alpine village. The hotel is centrally located on a hillside overlooking Lake Wakatipu with views towards the Remarkables Ranges and Walter Peak.

Your Morning sightseeing tour of Queenstown includes the Shotover River, where there is the opportunity for a thrilling jetboat ride (extra cost). Also during our trip you will visit historic Arrowtown, the site of a major 1860’s gold rush. You will also see pretty Lake Hayes and the Biggston Valley Winery to taste some of the fine estate. The afternoon is at leisure.
Evening Dinner at the Skyline Restaurant on Bob’s Peak, from where there are panoramic views across Queensland and Lake Wakatipu towards the surrounding mountains. Access is by aerial gondola.
Mon 24MILFORD SOUND DAY EXCURSION (582 KMS)
Breakfast in the hotel.
Full day tour by coach travelling around Lake Wakatipu and through the picturesque Southland farmlands to Te Anau and into Fiordland National Park. The scenery is stunning with high mountains and deep valleys carved out by Ice Age Glaciers. There are clear rushing mountain streams and leaping waterfalls set in magnificent native rain forest. You’ll also see the Mirror Lakes and The Chasm.
Cruise down Milford Sound aboard the MV Milford Monarch past Bowen Falls and Mitre Peak to the open sea. Seals, dolphins and penguins are often seen. Buffet lunch is served aboard.
In the afternoon the boat berths. Return to Queenstown travelling via the Cleddau Valley, Homer Tunnel, the lovely Eglinton Valley and Te Anau arriving back at the hotel about 7:30pm.

Afternoon: TSS Earnslaw Cruise to Walter Peak
Half day tour cruising across Lake Wakatipu on the 1912 vintage lake steamer TSS Earnslaw to Walter Peak High Country Sheep and Cattle Station dinner in the Homestead at Walter Peak.
Wed 26 - Breakfast in the hotel. Flight to Auckland.
On arrival in Auckland take the courtesy coach across to the International Terminal for your flight back to the USA. Pay Airport Departure Tax NZ$25 per person (not included)
